Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-13
These terms apply between Code & Beans AB (org. no 556772-5196, Västanäsgatan 6, 942 34 Älvsbyn, Sweden), trading as Fantastic Websites ("we"), and you, when you use this site or buy from us.
1. Who this is for
Fantastic Websites rebuilds business websites and is offered to business customers only: companies, sole traders and other organisations acting in the course of their business. By submitting a website or placing an order you confirm that you are acting for a business and that you are allowed to bind it. Consumer protection rules for distance selling do not apply to business purchases; if you are a consumer, please do not order.
2. Free previews
Paste the address of a website you own or are authorised to represent, and we rebuild its front page in several looks and email you a link. Previews are free, stay open for 4 days, and may be taken down after that. We may decline or hold a submission (for example a well-known platform rather than a business site, a site behind a bot check, or a second site from the same address) and we may stop offering previews at any time.
By submitting a site you promise that its content is yours to use, and you allow us to fetch, store and reproduce that content in order to build the previews and, if you order, the finished site.
3. Ordering
You order by choosing a look and a plan and paying through Stripe. Your order is accepted when Stripe confirms payment; we then email you a confirmation. Before paying you can go back and change your choice; after paying, tell us anything you want changed by replying to any of our emails. We keep a record of each order. Contracts are concluded in English.
4. What you get
WordPress, $1497 one time
Your whole site (up to 30 pages) built in the look you chose, using your own copy and photos, built as a WordPress site and put live on your own web host. To do that we need a login to your hosting: you give it to us through an encrypted form, we take a full backup before changing anything, and we delete the login on the day your site goes live. We do not change your domain, email or DNS without asking you first. Set-up usually takes one to two business days from the moment we have your hosting details; that is a target, not a promise. Once the site is live it is yours: you own it and you are responsible for updates, edits and backups from then on.
Hosted, $97 a month
The same site, put live on your domain and kept online by us, with hosting, security updates and small content changes (typically done in one to two business days) included. Pointing your domain at us is your job; we send instructions. The subscription renews monthly and you can cancel at any time; it ends at the end of the paid month. If a payment fails we tell you and, after a grace period, take the site offline; we keep a copy for 90 days after that so it can be restored.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT and sales tax, which Stripe adds where it applies.
5. Built with AI
The layout, the arrangement of your copy, small copy edits and any placeholder photos are AI-generated (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini). AI makes mistakes. You must review every page before it goes live and you are responsible for what your site says. Placeholder photos are illustrative: replace them with your own before you rely on them.
6. Who owns what
Your text, photos, logo and brand stay yours. When you have paid, we assign to you the rights in the HTML, CSS and page structure we generated for you, and you may use, change and host it freely. We keep the rights in our templates, prompts, tooling and icon set and may reuse them for other customers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts under their own open licences. You promise that the content you gave us does not infringe anyone's rights, and you will cover us if a claim says otherwise.
7. Refunds
Because the site is built to your order and delivered digitally, there is no refund once it has been delivered, except when the build fails and we cannot fix it, in which case we refund in full. Monthly plans are not refunded for a started month.
8. Liability
We are liable for direct losses caused by our negligence, up to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, lost business or other indirect loss, nor for outages caused by your domain, your DNS or third parties. Nothing here limits liability that Swedish law does not allow to be limited.
9. Data processing annex (hosted plan)
On the hosted plan, forms on your site post to our server and we forward each message to you. For those messages you are the controller and we are your processor under GDPR article 28, on these terms:
- We process the messages only to forward them to you and to keep a copy for 30 days for recovery, then delete them.
- Our staff are bound by confidentiality. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures (encrypted transport, access limited to the operator, hashed form tokens, rate limits).
- Our sub-processors for this are Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting, Ashburn, Virginia, United States (Hetzner Online GmbH)) and Resend (email delivery, United States), each under a data processing agreement with EU standard contractual clauses. We tell you before adding one; you may object and end the plan.
- We help you answer requests from the people who wrote to you, and we tell you without undue delay if we learn of a breach affecting those messages.
- When the plan ends we delete the stored messages. You may ask us for the information needed to show these terms are kept.
10. Content rules and contact for notices
Sites we host may not contain unlawful content, malware, or content that infringes others' rights. We may take a site offline if it does, and we may end the plan. If you believe a site we host is unlawful, email hello@fantasticwebsites.co with the address of the page and why; we review every notice and reply. That address is also our point of contact for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act.
11. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes go to the Swedish courts, with Luleå District Court as first instance, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere. Try us first: most things are solved by an email.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. For hosted customers, changes that matter are emailed 30 days before they take effect, and you can cancel before then.
